In-Company Training on EU Tendering and Tender Law
Europe Consult offers in-company training on European tender law. Although the programme can be adapted on request, we normally suggest to make clear the juridical framework on public procurement in the EU and to spend time on pragmatic aspects or knowledge on public procurement by introducing cases.
In general for the juridical framework, we suggest in the programme to pay attention to the ‘classical’ and/or ‘sector’ directive:
- the EU directive(s) 2004/17/EG (‘classical’) and/or the ’sector’ directive 2004/18/EG on public procurement
- the differences between selection and award criteria
For the pragmatic aspects on public procurement we suggest case-studies on:
- scans on the contracts not awarded in the past
- preparing a current bid of interest
- pre-sales activities
Documentation will be included and can consist of, among others, the text(s) of the EU directives in one ore more official languages of the EU.
